I have found out that the best way of remitting money from Singapore to Malaysia is via money changers.
Remitting money involves 2 types of fees [1] remitting fees /service fee [2] exchange rate
Bank chargers are high for both the above fees.
Money changer offer much better exchange rate and overall fees.
I use Raffles moneyChangePte Ltd at Jurong Point, BoonLay. [at BoonLay MRT station].
For remitting money, just press for a queue number, and for first -timer, need to fill up application form.
You need to bring a letter to proof your residential address, e.g. mobile phone bill.
Note cash is acceptable here.
Then remitting is easily done.
The address is Jurong Point Shopping Centre 2 #B1-03C.
Operating hours 10 am to 930pm .
